Brenda, 36, never thought she was the kind of person who'd opt for elective surgery. "Especially since I had children, I was really, really nervous about it. What if the worst happened? I knew that I'd never do it unless I found a doctor who I could absolutely trust not only with my results, but with my health. I needed to know, 100 percent, that I would be ok."
After breastfeeding two back-to-back babies, the SCV mom was left with severely asymmetrical breasts. "They were a little different in size before I got pregnant, but because I could really only nurse well on one side, by the time my last baby was weaned, they were noticeably 'off' and significantly deflated. It really bothered me more than I like to admit. When I talked to my husband about how I felt, he was supportive of surgery; that made me feel a lot better about my decision, so I began researching intently," recalls Brenda.
"I didn't want to be that mom at the pool who obviously had breast implants. I NEEDED TO LOOK 100 PERCENT NATURAL and Dr. Heller not only understood that, but embraced it. His methods and philosophy totally matched up with what I wanted out of my procedure and the results are better than
I could ever have expected."

What she found was a mixed bag. "I researched absolutely everyone in our local and regional area and I kept being drawn back to Dr. Justin Heller of Heller Plastic Surgery in Valencia. He's board certified and his credentials were amazing. Still, I wanted to be thorough, so I scheduled consults with other doctors, too."
At those appointments, each surgeon reported that one of her breasts would require additional incisions to lift that side - all but Dr. Heller. "Based on other surgeons' feedback, I was sure I would require more incisions, but Dr. Heller explained that he has perfected a technique he calls an 'internal lift,' meaning that I would get the look I wanted without any extra incisions. And he was right! I have only the tiniest little lines right in the fold of my breast - you'd never notice them. I didn't need additional incisions after all, thanks to Dr. Heller."
"Everything, from the beginning to now, nearly a year after my surgery, has been perfect. I opted for the Gummy Bear implants, which look so natural. You'd never know that I had breast augmentation, which was my goal," explains Brenda.
"Dr. Heller is so professional and so kind. He makes you feel like you're the only patient he has; you are treated like that much of a priority. I didn't feel like I had to work to advocate for myself; he made it very clear that he was as committed as I was to the outcome I desired. He and his entire staff made me feel so comfortable; I knew I was in the right hands. I healed so quickly with much less pain and downtime than I anticipated. Dr. Heller's follow up was wonderful! He called me the night of my procedure, the next morning and from there, he personally followed up weekly, then monthly. He still checks in to make sure that I'm happy and that everything is perfect. And everything is! I am very happy with my results. I wanted to look like I did before I was pregnant, or even better - and I do! I don't dress revealing, ever, but I still look so much better in clothes. It really helped my silhouette. I do feel so much better about myself," shares Brenda.
