"God gave me an amazing body, but I didn't always treat it right. But I lost the weight - and then Dr. Heller put me back the way God made me," explains Dani, a legal professional in her early 40s.

After an incredible weight loss of nearly 160 pounds over three years - she now weighs within five pounds of the amount of weight she has lost - the SCV resident had a lot of loose skin. "I didn't look like I should; the reflection in the mirror wasn't an accurate representation of my new body. No amount of toning would change that, either. I lift weights, work out - but all that excess skin stuck around. It was really holding me back," recalls Dani.

"As we age, our bodies produce less collagen - what gives our skin that 'bounce,'" says Dr. Justin Heller. Removing that much tissue requires attention to aesthetic goals but also functionality post surgery. "I feel amazing," says Dani, who's eagerly planning a summer wedding - with a sleeveless dress. Dani's skin removal was extensive, covering both her arms and thighs. "Skin doesn't weigh a lot and Dr. Heller removed over 8 pounds of it," says Dani. "I had so much extra skin under my arm, it was like another breast! I'm so happy to be rid of that. For my thighs, Dr. Heller performed a thigh lift and specialized liposuction so that everything looks really smooth. The surgery was outpatient and I healed quickly. Because I'm getting married really soon, I decided to treat my scars with lasers. Dr Heller's trusted board certified physician assistant, Mandi Jameson, did my treatments. She is amazingly skilled and I am just thrilled with the results! My scars are barely noticeable and I am ready for my big day!"
