Maybe it was all those too-close-up Zoom calls that got everyone thinking about their pore size - because even less-devout skincare fanatics have upped their game. Here are three winning strategies you may want to add to your regimen.

The Erbium Laser is the Skincare World's Newest Obsession
If you follow the beauty beat, you've no doubt heard about the Erbium Laser - and seen the truly-impressive before and after photos. Created to treat superficial sun damage, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles and crepey skin on the face, neck or chest, Erbium's resurfacing laser has only minimal downtime - and big results. One treatment is recommended for maintenance, but if you have deeper lines and/or pigment, it will usually take a series of treatments to achieve your desired outcome. This laser is great for all skin types - and it's worth a look if you're in the market for a fresher complexion.

"To minimize the appearance of pores and fill in fine lines, use a silicone based primer before you apply your makeup. Silicone gives your skin a more smooth and even look and helps to diminish the appearance of fine lines."

Less Makeup, More Skincare
Taking care of your skin will not only give you a healthy glow, it will serve as a perfect primer for your canvas prior to makeup application. As we head into fall, we need to repair our skin from the summer dry months.
While every skincare routine should be customized to your unique needs, there are some general guidelines most of us can implement.
First: Exfoliate! Whether that's with a facial scrub at least once to twice a week to remove dead skin cells and minimize pores or with a grit-free chemical exfoliant, the process should reveal fresher skin that glows!
If you're struggling with large or clogged pores, a face mask made to draw out your skin impurities can do the trick - especially if it boasts ingredients like charcoal or clay.
Of course, use a quality moisturizer with sunscreen and anti-aging products daily to improve the texture of your skin - and protect it. At night, Vitamin C serums can work wonders reducing fine lines and wrinkles while decreasing the visibility of sun damage.
Our final tip: Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and getting enough rest! Your skin can't repair itself - or appear bouncy and bright - if it's dehydrated and tired.

Skin Tag Removal at Ohana Beauty Spa

Whether they're due to friction, hormones (Ding ding!) or heredity, acrochordons can pop up when the body produces extra cells in the top layer of your skin. And while they're harmless, they also can be uncomfortable when rubbing against clothing. One of us has 'em (Thanks, extended-nursing hormone kick!), doesn't want 'em, doesn't want to go to the doctor to deal with 'em and is getting them removed painlessly with a ThermoClear treatment at Ohana Beauty Spa. ThermoClear utilizes both low radio frequency and high radio frequency to treat all skin types struggling with epidermal skin imperfections like spider capillaries, cherry angiomas, milia, acne and... skin tags!
