If the Eyes are the Windows to the Soul, my New Brows are Designer Curtains

Hi, I'm Jeanna - and I was an over plucker. Remember, in the '90s, when the coveted brow look was as thin, trim and sparse as our size-0 supermodels? Based on that criteria, my brows were runway ready - nothing like the thick, luscious brows of my childhood and early teens. They were waxed, clipped and tweezed to the literal point of no return.
Young Jeanna wasn't as forward thinking as the Jeanna of today - she didn't know that trends would pass and that she was irrevocably damaging her delicate facial follicles.
For decades - I'm 50 this year! - I did everything to cover up my lack of brow prowess.
Every brow powder, pencil and pen? They were in my makeup kit. Brow tattooing? Yup - multiple times. Those silly brow templates that you "stamp" onto your skin? I was a pro. Microblading? Of course. Permanent brow powder? First in line. Painful laser tattoo removal to do it all again - but "better?" More times than I want to count.

I have thick, "wow" brows that grow exactly where they were placed (And nowhere else - lucky me!).
The results were not instant. My first batch of "new" brows had a more untamed texture. They calmed quick enough, though, and groom gorgeously.
I did this entirely for me, but it's been fun to see people's reactions. "What have you done? You look great - but I can't put my finger on it." "I have eyebrows now!" It's always a blast for them to get up close and oooh and awww over Dr. Heller's work. I know at least three women have done the same procedure with him after seeing my results.
As a licensed cosmetologist, I've always been eager to invest in my skin, hair and appearance - it's part of what makes me, "me." Out of all I've ever done, my brow transplant is the best thing I've ever done for myself. Money well spent.
