Get more Out of Everything
by Angela Parretta
How many times a week do you hear someone say, "Life is short" as a justification for doing something? Pretty frequently, right?
With how often it's uttered, you'd think we'd take this message to heart. We'd take the trip, date the person, start the dream. And we'd also be way more intentional about how we spend our time.
For many people, working out is "just" a means to an end - what you do to feel or look a certain way, a hoop you jump through to be physically healthier. And let me tell you: Those people are missing out! Exercise can be transformative - not just for your body, but for your soul.
If you're going to do it, why not do it in a way that makes you feel like you're getting the most out of the experience - and life!?
When I opened Drenched, our clients couldn't believe how happy, fulfilled, calm and motivated they felt when they left a class. People who felt excluded from other fitness methods and places now felt accepted, treasured - and successful!
Life is short, so I did a new thing to expand on that experience for our community.
2021 is the year of leveling up - and in that vein, I've grown as a person and as a business owner. My own personal transformation has inspired our newest offering: Tread+Soul. This innovative high-intensity treadmill and weight workout will leave you sweating, satisfied, inspired and empowered.
Most importantly, it will help you get more out of your fitness journey - and life!
Angela Parretta is the owner of Drenched and Tread+Soul, fitness studios and lifestyle brands headquartered in Valencia. Right now, experience two weeks of unlimited classes at Tread+Soul for only $39.

5 Tips to Support Healthy Teeth & Gums
From helping you eat to expressing emotion to talking, your teeth play an important role in your everyday life, making it essential that you look after them. With proper care and maintenance, you can keep your teeth happy and healthy for a lifetime.
1. Use Fluoride Toothpaste
Fluoride helps to rebuild the weakened enamel at the surface of your teeth and can even help reverse the early stages of tooth decay. Not only does this make your teeth stronger overall, it also helps to prevent cavities and other dental health issues.
2. Floss Regularly
Along with removing leftover plaque from between your teeth, flossing also helps to prevent cavities, gum disease - and even bad breath! Whether you prefer traditional floss, water flossers, or interdental brushes, remember to floss before you brush.
3. Use an Antiseptic Mouthwash
Along with giving you fresh breath, using an antiseptic mouthwash as a part of your dental care routine can also help to support your oral hygiene. Using an antiseptic mouthwash can help to loosen plaque and food particles that may have been missed by brushing and flossing your teeth. It also helps to ward off any harmful bacteria that lead to infection.
4. Brush your Tongue
Just like your teeth and gums, the surface of your tongue can harbor harmful bacteria without proper maintenance. Brush your tongue back and forth, use a tongue scraper and rinse after cleaning your tongue.
5. See your Dentist Twice a Year
Be sure to get a routine cleaning and dental checkup every six months. If you're unsure of your last visit, be sure to reach out to your dentist to make sure you're on track for your specific dental health needs.

Fall is the Time to Schedule your Chemical Peel
In the fall, your skin is likely seeing much less sunlight than during the summer. This reduction in UV exposure allows you to really amp up your restorative skincare, like with a chemical peel, and have you glowing before the holidays.
A chemical peel can help you eliminate wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin texture, clogged pores, sun spots and more. There are three levels of chemical peels; a professional provider can help you select which is the best for your skin tone, level of damage, skin sensitivity, elasticity and overall aesthetic targets.
Superficial Peels
A mild acid is used to penetrate only the outermost superficial layer of skin. These surface-level treatments are effective in treating dry skin, overall texture and minor discoloration. Superficial peels are a great option for an introductory chemical peel and for when you need a facial treatment that requires no downtime.
Medium Peels
This level of chemical peel is used to treat slightly-deeper skin issues such as fine lines and acne and requires some downtime - though this is dependent on your skin's own recovery time. As medium peels reach the middle layers of skin, they can effectively remove damaged skin cells, increasing the treatment's longevity.
Deep Peels
The most intense option of chemical peels, deep peels fully penetrate the middle layer of skin and are intended to treat the most stubborn of skin issues. Considerable downtime is required, including staying out of the sun for a set amount of time. However, the results of deep peels are unparalleled.

You can Burn 500 or More Calories from a Cryotherapy Session?
Yup! In the two to three minutes you're body is exposed to below-freezing temps, your metabolic response will kick into overdrive to return your system to homeostasis. That energy burn is estimated by researchers to torch 500 or more calories. And the benefits compound - the treatment that's heralded by professional athletic organizations across the globe also boosts your metabolism, firms and tightens your skin and can reduce the appearance of cellulite.
