There are numerous reasons to say "I do" when the mercury hovers low. Wedded bliss during the "busy season" often comes with a higher price tag. You may be able to negotiate a lower rate on your location or bridal package when planning for a fall or winter celebration. And just because raindrops may be falling doesn't mean that a winter-wedding palate need be hum-drum. Embrace your space, choose a seasonally-appropriate gown, add timeless sparkle and become an expert on planning the wedding of your dreams.
Dreamy Details
Love like yours is rare indeed. Embody your uniqueness with highly-coveted colored gemstones like the Padparadscha Sapphire, which is often likened to lotus flowers and sunsets; the Purple Paraiba Tourmaline, which grows in popularity daily as more gem lovers embrace natural-colored stones; and the blue-purple Tanzanite, so rare that it is only found in one country in the world. These beauties, and more, were crafted by the gemstone professionals at Manya Jewelers. 255-6668
Gorgeous Winter Layers & Fabrics
Sumptuous bridal gown selections rich with texture and detail are ideal choices for winter weddings. Consider a satin gown; perfect for indoor events, its thicker profile will keep you warmer. Sheer lace sleeves are a stunning trend that will ensure the bride's comfort indoors while shielding her from chilly breezes. Jackets are the ultimate cool-weather accessory that can easily change the look of your dress. They'll keep you warm during an outdoor ceremony. Then take it off and put your dress on full display during the reception. These timeless gowns are available from La Soie Bridal.

A Bouquet Full of Memories
What began as a bride's simple request ("Please bring a broach you're willing to part with, and share the story behind it.") ended in a much more remarkable manner. The SCV bride hoped to gather more than beautiful baubles; she wanted memories. And that's what Charmaine's Bouquet Canyon Florist created when owner Charmaine Wojciechowski invested over 15 hours arranging the bejeweled collection into a bridal bouquet.
"Our bride originally intended to create this herself, but the task quickly became overwhelming. I understand completely! There are 99 broaches in her bouquet alone, and each of her bridesmaids had broaches in their bouquets, as well. Because the bride's friends and family were so generous with their jewelry, it was important that every single broach be visible so that its story could be told."

Your Vision is their Passion
The Santa Clarita Wedding and Event Professionals, or SCWEP, is a united group of the most accomplished and sought-after wedding vendors in Southern California. Together they form a unique network providing access to a wide variety of services in every stage of planning. SCWEP puts on two semi-annual events throughout the year: "Evening with the Pros" and "The White Stage." Each presents a unique opportunity to educate couples and showcase vendors. These events are a great way to get some "personal attention" with potential vendors without driving all over town. It's all in one place, at your fingertips.
The Santa Clarita Wedding and Event Professionals are an excellent resource for quality products and an abundance of qualified vendor referrals. Having a group of vendors that work perfectly together is a great perk - especially when you can find them all under one roof!
