Smart Marketing Tips for Busy People

1. One of the best ways to increase your business is through the cultivation of referrals from happy clients. If you own a retail business, consider offering complimentary refreshments or hosting afterhours preferred-customer events. Service-based industries can increase customer loyalty through the distribution of regularly e-mailed updates or informative workshops.

2. Donate your services, times or wares to charity. Ask your clients the most important question in business: Where did you hear about us? The answers will help you determine which current client to thank for the referral or will keep you better informed about the success rates of your advertising methods.

3. Invest in stationery. Hand-written thank you notes, birthday cards, congratulatory messages and more are rare in this technology-driven world and will make you and your business stand out amongst your competitors.
