Jersey Mike's Subs owner Chris Irons knows the importance of community relations and celebrated his new ties with Canyon Country during his grand opening on November 28. Iron christened his new store with a five-day fundraiser for local high school ASB programs. "My wife Sara and I feel it is our responsibility to join with the community and are happy to be able to help both local high schools with our grand opening," said Irons. Island Appeal Makes Window Shopping Fun
Island Appeal, located on Cinema Drive in Valencia, has brought a little old-fashioned holiday magic to the season by putting together a beautiful holiday window display, complete with toy train, animated penguins and a giant stuffed teddy bear relaxing on the beach enjoying hot cocoa and donuts. As a full-service premier wine merchant, the company recently opened a full-service warehouse to provide the public with over 4,000 varieties of wine to choose from, and their knowledgeable staff is always on hand to help customers pick out the perfect wine. For more information call 799-7979.
Pardee Homes recently partnered with Carousel Ranch, a nonprofit organization that provides equestrian therapy to mentally- and physically-handicapped children, for "Santa Day." On December 9, the staff of Pardee Homes hosted a winter wonderland party on the Ranch property, reminding over 90 local families that there really is a "Santa Claus." Children played in real snow, sipped hot chocolate, opened presents specially purchased just for them from Pardee Homes employees, and much more. As part of the generous holiday gift, Pardee Homes also provided two year-long therapy scholarships to two children in need.
Found in Dr. Abbassian's new, state-of-the-art office is the Cerec 3, a high-tech computer and milling machine used to manufacture tooth restorations like crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers.
