Gerald L. Marcus Joins
the National Trial Lawyers Top 100
Senior Partner Gerald Marcus of the Law Offices of Gerald L. Marcus has been selected for inclusion in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers. This invitation-only organization is composed of elite trial attorneys from across the country who meet stringent qualifications - which must include a consistent demonstration of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile. The selection process is extensive. Not only must an attorney be nominated by their peers, but various facets of their legal career will be evaluated by third-party researchers.
When it comes to Gerald L. Marcus, it is no surprise that he was offered membership in The National Trial Lawyers Top 100. Not only does he have more than three decades of experience in civil trial law, but he is backed by an impressive track record of courtroom victories. Having represented more than 10,000 people over the span of his career, Marcus has managed to recover nearly $100 million in settlements, jury verdicts and arbitration awards. This has earned him a coveted spot in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum as well as a place on the 2014 California Super Lawyers list.
Marcus is also an active member of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the San Fernando Valley Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Consumer Attorneys of California, the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles and the Beverly Hills Bar Association.

Six Principles for Relationship
and Business Success by Roy Fisher
Reflecting upon the many things I have learned throughout my military service, banking career and life in general, I've found developing positive relationships - both personally and professionally - to be essential.
Show Respect: Always treat people with respect. As the saying goes, treat others the way you want to be treated. Treating everyone respectfully will earn you respect in return.
Be Kind: This basic idea can be overlooked in business, but setting aside any negative personal feelings benefits everyone in the long run. Even when dealing with a difficult interpersonal situation, kindness is contagious.
Listen Carefully: Sincerely listen with the intent of full understanding. Ask questions to ensure the message is received as it was meant to be given.
Have Integrity: A person of integrity is honest and stands on a solid moral foundation. To possess integrity is to be whole and undivided in your principles. People resonate and respond well to authenticity.
Share Credit: Give credit where credit is due. Be generous in acknowledging those who participated in the effort. What is given together is exponentially more than the sum of each contributing part.
Trust your Team: Place your full trust in your team and make sure you have their trust. Mutual trust within your team creates a culture of reliability and accountability.
I've found applying these six principles cultivate lasting, mutually-beneficial relationships, which leads to success in business.
