VIA's Annual Bash Names SCV Food Pantry as 2006 Charitable Recipient

Local Dentist Dr. Joel S. Miller Receives Prestigious Title

Dr. Joel S. Miller, DMD of Northbridge Dental has recently received the title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Providence Health System Helps Healthcare Workers in New Orleans

Over $15,000 has been donated by the healthcare company to set up a an emergency evacuation fund that will assure employees of the Daughters of Charity Clinic will have enough money to leave New Orleans for a few days when the next hurricane strikes. The Daughters of Charity Clinic is located in a flooded part of New Orleans. Before Katrina, the clinic had more than 40 employees and doctors and was the medical oasis for hundreds of the poor and uninsured of the community. As an organization, Providence employees have decided to reduce their expenses of celebrations held during Christmas, Service Awards and cultural diversity lunches. All savings went directly to help victims of Katrina.

New Hours

Beginning September 6, Suburban Chateau, a home accessory and custom furniture store, will begin offering drop-in retail hours in addition to their appointment-only services.
