 | • Wheelchair Sports Festival - The 9th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival, a two-day free sporting event open to the public that features fifteen adaptive recreational activities, including wheelchair hockey, basketball, rugby (a.k.a. murderball), racquetball, baseball, hand cycling, SCUBA, tennis, track & field, wheelchair skating (WCMX), and a wheelchair obstacle course. | • 11th Annual KHTS Santa Clarita Home & Garden Show, Emergency Expo & Arts & Craft Fair - The 11th Annual KHTS Home & Garden Show is back after a two-year hiatus. The show will again be located at Central Park on Saturday, April 30 from 10am to 5pm and on Sunday, May 1 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free. Spectators can visit over 450 booths featuring Santa Clarita vendors. Don't miss the new The Butterfly Encounter. Get up close to hundreds of butterflies as they swarm around, feasting on nectar from a stick in your hand. Saturday will feature the Emergency Expo. On Sunday, dozens of vintage sports cars will be on display courtesy of the Santa Clarita Corvette Club. Everyone's favorite food trucks will be there, too. I'm intrigued by historical architecture and my art may contain parts of a house, castle, cottage, cabin or other structures. Many of my paintings have windows or doors, arches and pathways.
