•  City of Santa Clarita Eggstravaganza - Ready to help your kids "scramble" for treat-filled eggs? Held at Central Park, this family-friendly and free event begins promptly at 10am and is open to kiddos ages 10 and under. Bring a basket and be ready to "divide and conquer," because the park is separated into different areas so that each age group has a fun and fair time. No registration is required but do bring canned food items for the Santa Clarita Food Pantry if you're feeling generous. There will be a collection area on site.

•  Dragon Boat EggStravaganza and BBQ - Come join us and learn more about dragon boating at this FAMILY-FRIENDLY event. Dragon boat racing is growing in popularity in the U.S. and is a true team sport for all ages, consisting of a team of 20 paddlers who paddle in unison for the boat to move. •  Kids Fair Santa Clarita - Meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny, make an Easter basket craft, search for eggs - and connect with family-friendly resources in the SCV. Kids Fair Santa Clarita offers small-business shopping; kid-centered health, education and wellness vendors; an opportunity to support SCV Family Promise and the SCV Food Pantry and more. Parents can participate in an on-site stroller exercise class, test their luck with raffles and enjoy free entry. The event is held at The Centre.

•  Bloom Fest '23 - Shop, Eat & Dance at Strawberry & Fig's
"Bloom Fest '23," the biggest spring shopping event in the SCV will be held at Central Park on Saturday, April 15 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free and gives guests access to over 150 artisans, crafters and vendors - plus loads of entertainment. Rebel Heart, a local Country band, will play from 12pm to 4pm. Join the line-dancing fun or bring chairs to watch the show. Food trucks like LA's premier eatery on wheels - Baby's Badass Burgers - will please every palate. When you join the Facebook group "SCV Events & Boutiques by Strawberry & Fig," you'll learn more about this event as well as the next spring function on May 7 at the Canyon Country Community Center.

•  Household Hazardous Waste & E-Waste Recycling - Electronic Waste Drive-Thru Collection Event will be held at COC-South Parking Lot (26455 Rockwell Canyon Rd.) Stay in your vehicle with windows closed, if possible. You are asked to carefully secure items in your trunk/pick-up bed in a sturdy box, preferably original containers with no other items. No explosives, ammunition, radioactive materials controlled substances, trash, tires, or large appliances (like refrigerators, stoves and washing machines) or business waste can be taken.
Sharps disposal will require exiting your vehicle in a designated location to deposit them in a bin.
Limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.

•  Spring Concert - Don't Miss The Encore Chorale of Santa Clarita's Free Spring Concert -
The local group, conducted by Alex Nizzoli, will sing a fun, uplifting mix of choral arrangements of popular songs centered around themes of light and love, from Sarah Quartel's "All The Way Home" to Susan LaBarr's "My Very Own." Admission is free with a pay-what-you-wish option to support Encore Creativity for Older Adults' mission of providing an excellent artistic environment for all older adults.
