•  A Comedy of Tenors - Canyon Theatre Guild presents Ken Ludwig's "A Comedy of Tenors" - One hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends and a soccer stadium filled with screaming fans. What could possibly go wrong? It's 1930s Paris and the stage is set for the concert of the century - as long as producer Henry Saunders can keep the amorous Italian superstar Tito Merelli and his hot-blooded wife Maria from causing runaway chaos. Filled with characters from Ken Ludwig's famous "Lend Me A Tenor," this new addition to the Ludwig canon is an uproarious ride full of mistaken identities, blissful romance and madcap delight.

The well-known tale of two lost, hungry children who come upon a candy cottage in the woods is set to the opera by Englebert Humperdinck. The show also includes "The 12 Dancing Princesses." Sometimes called "The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes," this tale poses a mystery: How is it that 12 princesses who are locked in their bed chamber every night have worn-out shoes every morning? Whimsical forest animals, flowers and sea creatures add immensely to the beautiful scenes set to themes by Vivaldi and other recognizable classical pieces.
Purchase your tickets now for the 2:30pm or 7:30pm showings on Saturday, June 10 at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at College of the Canyons.
