Olivia and Gabe are moving into their first apartment. They've just packed up all of their belongings and driven halfway across the country to start a new life together in Chicago. Their moving day doesn't go exactly as planned, though, and things become slightly more complicated when all of their parents show up to help. Can a two-bedroom apartment contain all of the love, laughs, worry and wisdom that's about to happen?

Harlene Frye is going to marry her childhood sweetheart this weekend... assuming the typical Frye family hijinks don't derail the wedding. Harlene and Attie's future together is threatened when the bride-to-be's awful ex-flame shows up with information she doesn't want her fiance finding out. And Harlene's not the only Frye keeping secrets: Sammy Jo refuses to tell her family she's moving even though all her bags are already packed. As if that isn't enough, Dewey can't figure out why people keep on asking him to give his sister away and busybody Ozella Meeks has somehow ended up as the wedding coordinator. This is a bighearted comedy about family - Southern-style.

•  Strawberry & Fig's Fall Boutique - Strawberry & Fig's annual Fall Boutique is a free, fun shopping event with 135 artisans, crafters and vendors. A few of the amazing things you'll find at this popular event are clothing and accessories, home decor, soap, candles, jewelry, yummy sweets, breads and so much more. Plus, there will be face painting for the kiddos and permanent jewelry. Arrive hungry so you can enjoy some of the best food trucks around. The Fall Boutique will be held at 23841 Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia.

•  Duck Dash - The Samuel Dixon Family Health Care Center presents its 21st Annual Duck Dash at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center to raise funds to support its essential services. This cherished event provides a fun-filled day at the water park, watching thousands of rubber ducks race. Admission is a $5 duck race entry per person. All race entries will receive a unique number and will race in multiple heats for a chance to be the Grand Prize winner! The more entries purchased, the more chances you have to WIN! •  Jeepers Creepers Half Marathon/10K/5K - Dress in your favorite Halloween costume - and then make your way to the starting line at Heritage Park, along the Santa Clarita bike path. Runners and walkers will have fun without the worry of auto traffic on the course - and they'll be rewarded with post-race street tacos upon completion. The USATF-certified course will have prizes for costumes and opportunities for participants of nearly every skill level to enjoy the race.

•  Finish The Ride and Finish The Run Santa Clarita! - Join hundreds of your fellow cyclists and runners along the scenic San Fransciquito Bike Path and beyond as well as riding the beautiful Santa Clara River Path. Other ride options are the Metric Century, which travels up to Acton by the world-famous Vasquez Rocks, as well as a 1K Kids and Puppy Run, 5K and 10K Run/Walk, in addition to our 12 Mile, 25 Mile, and 62 Mile Ride (Costumes are encouraged, but optional for participation.) So, get creative and come dressed in your spooky best! Event supports the non-profit Streets Are For Everyone, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for pedestrians, bicyclists, and drivers alike by reducing traffic fatalities and injuries.

•  Castaic Lake Haunted Halloweeen Hike - Participants literally crawl, crouch, and interact with actors as they physically travel through a unique haunted experience. Obstacles include blood, slime, gore cannons, obstacle courses, slides, and real balls of fire, a production filled with various levels of interactive experiences that challenge even the most brave. Hike time slots happen every 15 minutes for groups of 75. Length is about 3/4 of a mile, expect 45-60 minutes to complete. Recommended for children ages 13 and under.
Parental discretion is advised.
