•  Cats - Canyon Theatre Guild presents 'Cats'
Running from Saturday, March 22 to Saturday, April 26, experience the phenomenon that is "Cats!" The Jellicle Cats come out to play on one special night of the year - the night of the Jellicle Ball. One by one, they tell their stories for the amusement of Old Deuteronomy, their wise and benevolent leader, who must choose one of the cats to ascend to The Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a whole new Jellicle life.

•  Nest: Healing Art Studio - Nest is a free program, for teens and adults, consisting of an an hour of mindful, judgement-free art making. Mindfulness practices, both in meditation and in art, can help our ability to regulate our feelings, decrease stress, and focus our attention. No art expertise needed. A project suggestion will be given, but not required. Developed under the direction of Emily Skelton, LMFT, Registered Art Therapist. Every first Sunday of the month.

•  Strawberry Fig presents Bloom Fest - Strawberry Fig presents 'Bloom Fest'
It's a Santa Clarita tradition - and you won't want to miss it! Bloom Fest, held on Sunday, April 6, is filled with unique vendors, food trucks, delightful treats - and it's free! Discover amazing crafts and products from over 200 vendors in a vibrant atmosphere that's elevated with live entertainment and surprises. Plan on photo fun with Strawberry & Fig's adorable Easter Bunny - named Peter Rabbit, of course! - and bring the kids for their egg-stra awesome egg hunt. •  Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival - The Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival which will be held on April 12 and April 13, 2025, is Los Angeles County's premier western music festival. Surrounded by historic charm in the heart of Santa Clarita's Arts and Entertainment District, the Cowboy Festival is held at William S. Hart Park and offers a unique festival atmosphere with over 15 performances of live music, western swing dancing, vintage vendors and western festivities. From the days of the gold rush to Western movies, Santa Clarita's historic sites hold a key place in the history of California. Unlock these moments at the Cowboy Festival for a fascinating glimpse into what life was like in the Old West, with event favorites including hatchet throwing, panning for gold and Dutch oven peach cobbler. Stroll through a western-town environment and browse vintage boots, hats, leather goods, jewelry and western fashion while dining on cowboy grub with all the fixin's.

•  Kevin Nealon - Emmy and SAG-nominated actor and comedian Kevin Nealon sets himself apart from other comedic performers with his unique sense of humor, dry wit and likable demeanor. Nealon is best known for his nine-year stint as a cast member of NBC's Saturday Night Live and he received critical acclaim for his role in the hit Showtime series "Weeds." He currently produces and hosts his digital series "Hiking with Kevin" and tours his stand-up globally. His latest book, "I Exaggerate: My Brushes with Fame," is part art book and memoir, full of original full-color caricatures he created along with funny, endearing personal essays about his famous friends.

•  Neighborhood Clean Up Event - In celebration of Earth Day and Arbor Day, the City is hosting a Neighborhood Clean Up (NCU) on Saturday, April 19, 2025. This is a volunteer opportunity to help keep Santa Clarita clean and green by picking up trash and litter in your own neighborhood and surrounding areas. Registration is required before April 18, 2025 through the Santa Clarita Volunteer website at SantaClaritaVolunteers.com. Registered volunteers can pickup cleaning supplies as well as a free bag of mulch and one-gallon plant (while supplies last) from 8:00-11:00 a.m. on the morning of the event.
