"As a mother of twin boys with autism, I can't express enough how grateful I am for the incredible Ready to Work program offered by Carousel Ranch, which has been a game-changer for our family. From the start, they've provided a supportive and understanding environment that has allowed my sons to develop essential life skills, practice socializing with peers and prepare for the workforce in a way that is not available in any other program nearby.
RTW's approach is not just about learning - it's about building confidence. They've taught my boys everything from managing daily tasks to communicating effectively to navigating social situations. These skills were difficult for them in the past, but thanks to the individualized attention and hands-on experience, they've made remarkable progress.
Now, both of my boys are thriving in an internship program partnered with the regional center - and the fact that it's a paid internship has made all the difference. The opportunity to earn money has motivated them in ways I couldn't have imagined. They take their work seriously and the responsibility they feel is helping them grow into young adults with a strong sense of independence and purpose.
