The Painted Turtle Invites the Community to a Hoedown BBQ
Annual Fundraiser Supports Sending Children with Serious Medical Conditions to Camp for Free
The Painted Turtle's North Los Angeles County Regional Advisory Board will host its 12th annual BBQ fundraiser on Saturday, October 28 at The Painted Turtle camp in Lake Hughes. Community members are invited to attend this celebration which offers an exclusive tour of the campground, delicious food and cocktails, live music and a boisterous live and silent auction with prizes ranging from exclusive Paul Newman memorabilia, adventurous trips, fine jewelry, home packages, autographed sports memorabilia and more! All proceeds from the event will benefit The Painted Turtle camp for children with serious medical conditions. From its adaptive programming to its hospital outreach program, The Painted Turtle empowers children with life-threatening illnesses to gain independence and build a community where they are not alone. Since 2004, The Painted Turtle has provided year-round, life-changing experiences for over 51,000 children and their families. With the support of donors and fundraisers like the BBQ, campers and families always attend free of charge. Learn more and get your tickets online.
