Festival of Trees
November, 2019 - Issue #182

Kick-off the Holiday Season in Santa Clarita at Festival of Trees
Mark your calendars and support Santa Clarita's children and teens at Festival of Trees! This year's event will be held at Valencia Town Center November 22 to November 24. Held the weekend before Thanksgiving, Festival of Trees is Santa Clarita's kick-off to the holiday season.
Join in the tradition and visit the Hall of Trees, where you will find over 40 beautifully-designed and themed Christmas trees. In the Tabletop Christmas Trees area you will discover three- and four-foot trees that are guaranteed to amaze even the most seasoned elf. If the trees are not enough, the charming one-of-a-kind gingerbread houses are sure to get you into the holiday spirit with their creative, whimsical take on tradition. Be sure to get a photo with Santa while you're there.

At Festival of Trees you will get to experience this unique event and have the opportunity to take a piece of it home with you. The best way to experience the event is to attend the Magic of the Lights Gala on Friday night. Held in The Canyon, the gala includes gourmet food, entertainment and the public's only opportunity to bid on the live auction Christmas trees, many of which come with gifts such as event tickets, wine, furniture, jewelry and more. Silent auction tree and gingerbread house opening bids and buy-it-now options will be available. This event will sell out, so purchase your tickets now.

Saturday and Sunday, the Festival of Trees will continue with general admission hours from 10am to 6pm both days. Bring your children to the Kid's Corner for arts and crafts and take a photo with Santa Claus!

"Give Where You Live" to The Boys & Girls Club!
Now is the time for the community to rally together and "give where you live!" The Boys & Girls Club of Santa Clarita Valley has made a difference in the lives of local youth since 1968. With two locations, the club provides services to nearly 2,400 local young people ages 7 to 17 with quality year-round and after-school programs focused on education, career development, character, leadership, health, fitness, sports, recreation and the arts. Through your continued generosity, the Boys & Girls Club will continue to build a brighter future for the children of the Santa Clarita Valley. Plan to attend this year's Festival of Trees or consider making a year-end donation to the Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club.
