Carousel Ranch's annual fundraiser - "Heart of the West" - is again offering the choice of in person and virtual options so more people can join in on the fun! Held on the grounds of Carousel Ranch, it is sure to be a night of delicious food, comradery, live and silent auctions and plenty of moments to share in what matters most - the needs of Carousel kids.

Meet Carousel Ranch Rider Jonah Padgett
"The atmosphere at Carousel Ranch is so peaceful and relaxing - until it's time to ride! Jonah loves playing basketball on horseback. He has extremely-low muscle tone and very low stamina. He tends to need a lot of breaks and tires quickly during physical activities. Jonah also has difficulty managing his own behavior and taking direction from adults. Riding at Carousel Ranch has improved his core strength, endurance, self-regulation and ability to listen and follow directions. I also love to see his social interactions and bonds that are forming with his instructors. We are so blessed and thankful for our Carousel Ranch family!" Cindy Padgett

Thanks to the support and generosity of our community, Carousel Ranch is poised to achieve great things as they further their mission this year as a place of horses, healing and hope. Despite the challenges of the past two years, Carousel Ranch has remained a community treasure dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with special needs. The equestrian therapy and vocational training programs' mission is to create an atmosphere where every student can and will succeed... a place where therapy is disguised as fun. From innovative programming during the pandemic to transitioning to the return of in-person lessons, the Ranch continues to serve the developmental therapeutic and recreational program needs for their vulnerable student population. Mission Valley Bank has stood beside Carousel Ranch nearly every step of the way since the bank's formation. From assisting with the financing of their property to the launch of their newest program - Ready to Work vocational training program - the support and guidance provided has been instrumental in the nonprofit's growth.
