Paint-It-Forward COVID-19 Giveaway
ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING Now Accepting Nominations
October, 2020 - Issue #193

ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING Now Accepting Nominations
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected so many local families and businesses - and that's why ALLBRiGHT 1-800-PAINTING is giving away exterior painting services to a deserving family with their Paint-It-Forward COVID-19 giveaway.
You can nominate yourself or someone you know that has been negatively impacted; registration closes on September 25. The winners will get the chance of a lifetime with this giveaway as the ALLBRiGHT team transforms their house into their dream home.
Here's how it works. Each year, ALLBRiGHT 1-800-Painting asks the local community to nominate a family that is in need of painting services but can't afford it. Once nominations are received, the whole "Painting Happiness" Team - along with the local community - vote on the candidates. The recipient receives up to $10,000 worth of free exterior painting services - including paint and supplies generously donated by Dunn Edwards Paint. Next, the employees volunteer their time to Paint-It-Forward. A freshly-painted home can really brighten a family's outlook and bring a little "Painting Happiness" into the lives of the recipients. Ready to make your nomination? Log on now.

Samuel Dixon Family Health Centers

Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, Inc. is celebrating 40 years of serving the Santa Clarita community, establishing its first community health center in 1980 in Val Verde to address the unmet healthcare needs of the community. Since that time, SDFHC has been a safety net provider to all residents of the Santa Clarita Valley and neighboring communities, providing affordable primary healthcare, dental, mental health and enrollment services. With specialized programs to support anyone in need, SDFHC participates in programs that tailor to those who are low income, underinsured or are unable to access healthcare insurance. Their mission is to help anyone in need; they will never refuse service to an individual because of their inability to pay. With three convenient health centers located throughout the SCV - Val Verde Health Center, Canyon Country Health Center and Newhall Health Center - and two outreach programs on the campuses of California Institute of the Arts and College of the Canyons - SDFHC provides a full array of services including oral health, mental health, chronic disease management, diabetes prevention programs, family planning, health education, immunizations, wellness exams, screenings and diagnostic tests - plus enrollment assistance for My Health LA, MediCal, MediCare and Covered California. This past year, Samuel Dixon Family Health Center impacted the lives of over 8,000 individuals accounting for over 16,000 patient visits. Thanks to the generous support from HealthNet and the California Primary Care Association, their grants awarded to SDFHC enable them to expand accessibility by offering telehealth visits to patients and provide necessary PPEs and other protective equipment to keep patients, providers, healthcare staff and visitors safe during the pandemic. SDFHC remains on the frontlines and is committed to serving the community and helping those in need.
