GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE SCV
Support your Favorite Nonprofits this Holiday Season

As the year's end draws near, here's a timely reminder to extend our compassion to those in need. The holiday season, often described as the most wonderful time of the year, presents a meaningful opportunity to engage in charitable giving.
Charitable contributions are a vital aspect of the spirit of giving during this season. Beyond the heartwarming emotions it brings or the potential for year-end tax deductions, it's important to recognize that numerous nonprofit organizations heavily depend on the generosity of both individuals and businesses to sustain their operations and advance their missions.
In response to the increasing needs of its nonprofit partners, Mission Valley Bank initiated the Give Where You Live SCV campaign several years ago. This initiative showcases a different nonprofit each month through the Bank's advertising, articles, website and various social media platforms.
Carousel Ranch, Boys and Girls Club of SCV, Samuel Dixon Family Health Center, College of the Canyons Foundation, Child & Family Center, the Santa Clarita Valley Family YMCA and others throughout both the Santa Clarita and San Fernando Valleys are included in this campaign. By raising awareness about these organizations' needs and their valuable work - while also connecting their causes with local residents - he initiative helps strengthen the community.
So, how can you contribute to helping others? One way is to explore a charity or service club that resonates with your passions and values. The Santa Clarita community boasts a multitude of nonprofit organizations that rely on the kindness and support of local residents and businesses to create positive change. In addition to year-end contributions, consider making regular donations to your chosen charity throughout the year, a strategy that can have a more-lasting impact. When it comes to doing good, let your creativity shine, exploring various ways to make a positive difference in your community.
