Fetch Cocktails Hosts Tournament in Support of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Newly-launched Fetch Cocktails is hosting an exciting golf fundraising event that offers something for everyone - all while benefiting "In Care Of "and LLS.
Golfers and cocktail enthusiasts alike are invited to join in on the fun on May 24 at the Oaks Club in Valencia.
Fetch Cocktails, a premium spirits brand, has created a vodka with a clean, refreshing flavor. Fetch Cocktails is owned by local Valencia residents Kyle and Jessica Carlson alongside their partners Chris and Elise Joseph.
The power couples will be hosting the tournament - and guests like you will be joined by celebrities, influencers and other members of the community in a fun day of games, contests and more.
This tournament will be helping to bring awareness and dollars for this wonderful cause. There will be a variety of Fetch tastings, a sharp-shooter challenge, prizes and more.
Bloody marys and breakfast burritos will be served along with lunch available from Meat District. Participants will wind down the day with a Margarita Bar and tacos.
Golf foursomes are available for purchase in limited quantities online.

COC Helps Homeless Students RISE

College of the Canyons (COC) serves the Santa Clarita Valley as a vital, enduring, cultural, educational and economic force in the region. The COC Foundation generates philanthropic support for the college, allowing COC to perform beyond the achievement level that tax dollars alone can support and to strive for the highest levels of excellence in teaching, scholarship, vocational training and innovation.
One of the Foundation's initiatives this year is RISE - Resources for Individual Success in Education - that strives to help students battling with homelessness. At its core, the program exists to improve access to higher education for current and former foster students and homeless youth - as well as increase retention, graduation and transfer rates and promote student learning and development.
At COC, approximately 200 students have self-identified as struggling in this way. A $175 contribution outfits a homeless student with a "Campus Survival Kit" complete with basic personal-care items, college school supplies, gift cards and snacks for food insecurity, transportation support and information to access services at the college and regionally. It's a tangible way to support and help students coping with an emerging personal crisis. To donate, log on.
