Travel Club of Santa Clarita
On January 9 at 7 p.m. at Barnes & Noble in Valencia, the inaugural meeting of the Travel Club of Santa Clarita will be held.
The purpose of the group is to gather together people who want to travel, enjoy traveling and have traveled. All age groups and different kinds of travelers, including cruise, adventure, solo, escorted tours, foreign, and domestic are invited. The group will meet monthly and share information, tips and fun stories. A different destination will be covered each month and guest speakers will be invited to the meetings, as well.

LETMESAIL
The mission of LETMESAIL, Inc. is to develop a dynamic, state-of-the-art lifestyle enrichment center in a campus environment for individuals with special needs, developmental disabilities and cognitive delays. The Lifestyle Enrichment Center will provide services wherein the disabled will receive critically needed social, recreational, health enhancing, employment and independent living skills and training. The Lifestyle Enrichment Center will be opening in early 2006. LETMESAIL, Inc. can be reached at 255-7609 and is strongly soliciting volunteers.
SCV Town Angels
Project Town Angels is seen as a model for any city or town, big or small, to undertake a grassroots effort to help families that have become homeless due to the hurricanes. Project Town Angels is basically a 20-point model that any community nationwide could use to help. A "Town Angels Team" is made up of individuals working together to help with the basic 20 tasks.

Santa Clarita Casting Club
A new fly fishing club has been established in the Santa Clarita Valley. The Santa Clarita Casting Club already has a website,

Los Angeles Opera League - Santa Clarita Region
Members of the Opera League - Santa Clarita Region took food for the cast of Tosca on November 11. After the cast finished eating, club members enjoyed watching them rehearse "Tosca."
All opera lovers are invited to come to the next opera league gathering. Speakers will give presentations on "Madama Butterfly" and "Le Nozze de Figaro." Come and enjoy a free preview featuring video excerpts and enriching details of these two memorable operas which will open at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in January.
