"Ayla has been my happy fighter since her premature birth 13 years ago. Even though she struggled to grow, meet milestones and even eat, I have never met anyone as happy, positive or loving as Ayla. She is mine for a reason and I don't know how to express how thankful I am to have her in my life.
Our life is not always easy. Carousel Ranch has been an integral part of Ayla's growing physical strength as well as her emotional and social development. At Carousel Ranch, Ayla is not the kid with disabilities that she might be at school but a vibrant, smart, wacky, loving typical teenager. I too, am not a 'special needs parent' as I have been called in other settings, but a mom of a teen who gets tired, frustrated and doesn't always know how to respond to each and every behavior. Carousel Ranch provides a warm and caring place for us to come on Saturday mornings, full of peace, optimism and love."

Meet Children's Demonstration Rider
Isaac Carothers
"When Isaac was 1 years old, he was diagnosed with 'failure to thrive.' Due to his developmental delay, he struggled to feed himself and had very low muscle tone. As he continued to grow, we noticed Isaac had poor finger dexterity. He also had difficulty making certain speech sounds, which limited his communication with us and would cause him to have tantrums. Isaac began his therapy at Carousel Ranch in May of 2019. Almost immediately, he showed a marked improvement in his fine motor skills and he fell in love with his 'horsies.' He began speaking to us in full sentences and is showing consistent improvement in speech development. As a parent, you want nothing but the best for your child and when you see them struggle with things that come naturally for most, it cuts you to your core. Hope is a powerful thing and it has shaped our perspective throughout this process. We are forever thankful for the encouragement we received and the constant outpouring of love and care we have experienced at Carousel Ranch."
