Get a jump on the holiday season and a few inspirational ideas by wandering through four spectacularly decorated homes as the Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Home Tour League kicks off the holiday with its annual Holiday Home Tour. This year's theme, "A Holiday Renaissance," will mark the 26th anniversary of the event and the celebration of more than 100 homes that have participated over the years.
This season, three of the four beautiful homes in the Westridge neighborhood will feature holiday decorations from professional designers, with many incorporating the homeowners' own personal touches. Homeowner Jeri Latka will be decorating her own Spanish-style home.

Home Tour will open with a Sneak Preview Gala on Friday, December 1. The $100-per-person Holiday Preview Gala, a black-tie-optional event, will be held at the Tournament Players Club at Valencia, located at 26550 N. Heritage View Lane in Westridge between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The Gala is a great way to see the homes, complete with sparkling lights and without the crowds expected to tour on Saturday. The Gala will include a buffet, a selection of desserts and bar available before and after touring of the homes, between 6 p.m. and 9 pm.
Since its inception, the Holiday Home Tour has raised more than $600,000 for the hospital. The tour, open to all adults and children over 12 years of age, will take place on December 2 from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Ticket prices are $25 if purchased before December 2 and $30 at any of the featured homes or at the holiday boutique, which will coincide with the Home Tour. The boutique, also a long-standing tradition with vendors offering a treasure trove of items including clothing, handcrafted items, holiday decor and gifts galore, will be open to all for no charge at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Assembly Hall, located at 23233 Lyons Avenue in Newhall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
