How Sweet it Is

Sweet treats in moderation is generally a healthy policy, but when the holidays roll around, all bets are off. Here are three of our favorite ways to watch our kids get their sugar on during the holidays. It's the sweetest time of the year!

1. Dessert Charcuterie Board
Forget the cheese, meats and crackers - our kids can't want to assemble a pretty tray of treats for our "Elf" movie night. Expect there to be plenty of nibbles during plating.

2. Hot Chocolate Bar
Get ready to quip, "Have a little hot chocolate with all those marshmallows, why dontcha!" when you watch your kiddo pile the floaty bits on top of whipped cream, chocolate syrup and maraschino cherries.

3. Cookie Decorating Stations
Sure, you could make 'em from scratch, but buying a kit from the grocery store or supporting a local crafty parent who's selling boxed sets on Facebook is cool, too. Make a mess - and memories.
