Observed
Nothing says "Merry Christmas" like 30 seconds with Bruce and Gloria Fortine. The Santa look alike and his brilliant, adorably elfin wife were making like the Clauses at the Boys & Girls Club's Festival of Trees. Also on hand for the celebration of all things tinsel were Bob Hudson and his fashionista squeeze Margo. We wish a belated "Happy engagement!" to the pair.

Folks also got in the spirit with Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital's annual Home Tour. Several of Westridge's poshest estates were Chris Kringled by some of Santa Clarita's fancy-schmanciest decorators, including Billie Hubbard of La Via Bella, plus Fredye Gonzales and Martin Avila, who gussied up their own digs to the theme of "It's a Wonderful Life."

In other HMNMH foundation news, the annual fashion show was again well received. It might have something to do with the choice of models, like everyone's favorite restaurateur Greg Amsler, who shook his money-maker (No, not a Christini Martini; we mean his butt.) on the catwalk.

Overheard
What had you achieved by the time you turned 9? Were you the star of multiple marketing campaigns both in print and television? No? Then, perhaps you owned (or at least acted like you owned) a car dealership. Still not familiar...? Did you have a personal trainer? A chauffer? Unlimited rubbing courtesy of Don Fleming?

Wow. Your life sucks. On November 30, Sparkplug, of Valencia Acura fame (duh) took one furry step closer to the big 1-0. You've been bested by a dog, my friend. Again.
