The Master's University Theatre Arts Presents "She Loves Me"
If you like attending live theatre in the Los Angeles area, look no further! The Master's University Theatre Arts produces family friendly, top-quality, entertaining plays and musicals filled with intriguing plot lines and captivating characters that you are sure to enjoy watching.
"She Loves Me" is the musical version of "The Shop Around the Corner," starring Jimmy Stewart in 1940. The beloved story was re-created and released in 1998 as "You've Got Mail." In this live musical version, George and Amalia, while constantly at odds with one another at work, have unknowingly been pen pals through a "lonely hearts" advertisement. As relationships in the shop become strained, the two depend more and more on their letters, eagerly anticipating finally meeting in person. Love, laughter, heartbreak and dreams all come together in this highly-energetic musical featuring much-loved songs, including "Tonight at Eight," "Will He Like Me?," "Vanilla Ice Cream," "She Loves Me" and more.
This show runs Fridays and Saturdays, March 27 and 28 and April 3 and 4, at 2pm and 8pm at The Master's University Music Recital Hall.
