Tattoos Cure Cancer
November, 2013 - Issue #109
Revita Ink was lucky enough to attend the Tattoos Cure Cancer launch event on November 3, 2013. It was a very impressive event and obviously played close to the heart for many patrons venturing into Eternal Art in Canyon Country. There were close to 400 people that attended the Tattoos Cure Cancer (TTC) event throughout the day.

Some people supported the cause by buying a shirt. However the majority of people attending the event bled for the cause... literally. The unique aspect of this event was that the only tattoos being done this day were variations of the cancer ribbon. All proceeds for from this event went towards helping fund cancer research.

"Our booth was at the entrance so I had a unique opportunity to hear people's stories of why they were getting a tattoo that day," says David Raskin, CEO of Revita Ink. "Many had lost a loved one to cancer and the tattoo for them was a way of honoring their memory. Some had survived battles with cancer all their life and the tattoo was symbol of victory."
