The Come Christmas Sing! concert series has long been a treasured opportunity to celebrate the birth of Christ and typically includes a wide range of performances, from solos to choral ensembles to orchestra performances. Held in conjunction with the concert is the third-annual Christmas Market, where vendors will sell hand-crafted items such as jewelry, candles, ornaments, quilts and baked goods.
The Master's University invites members of the Santa Clarita Valley community to join in for a celebration of Christmas in December and the school's annual Bible conference in January! Read on for further details, and as always, you can find a full list of events taking place at TMU, located in Newhall's Placerita Canyon, at masters.edu/events.
Get Into the Christmas Spirit with TMU's Christmas Market
TMU will host its third annual Christmas Market outside The MacArthur Center on December 6 and December 7. Inspired by European Christmas markets, the event will feature small businesses selling hand-crafted items such as jewelry, candles, ornaments, quilts and baked goods. There will also be a gift-wrapping station, a hot cocoa stand and a German-style food truck. Come by on Friday, December 6 between 6pm and 9pm or on Saturday, December 7 between 1pm and 9pm to experience the market. You don't need a ticket to TMU's Christmas concerts for entrance to the market.
Join TMU for the 40th Annual Come Christmas Sing! Concert Series
A seasonal staple at TMU, the 40th annual Come Christmas Sing! concerts will take place on December 6 and December 7 in The MacArthur Center on campus. This year's theme is "All Is Well," with pieces performed by TMU's orchestra and choruses.
"Come Christmas Sing is back with a delightful holiday-themed concert this year!" said Dr. Marius Bahnean, TMU's director of choral activities. "This event will evoke the warm nostalgia of cherished past Christmases, encouraging the audience to reminisce about beloved family traditions. Our orchestra and choirs will bring to life enchanting themes from 'The Polar Express,' 'Home Alone' and 'The Muppet Christmas Carol,' along with timeless traditional Christmas anthems. It's sure to be a heartwarming celebration of the season."
