The local foodie-themed social-media pages have been blustering over the burgs at Rustic Burger House on Newhall Ranch Road - and it's all because of the hot spot's recent re-brand opening, driven by some of the most recognized and respected names in the industry. Now more gastropub than craft burger only, you'll find delicious salads and surprises on the seasonal menu. But really, what better to nosh on while playing a classic game in the communal-seating area or on the pooch-positive patio than one of their eight-ounce Angus beef patties from Harris Ranch? You'll choose from chili burgers, pretzel buns and other wow-worthy options, but our vote is for the Old West BBQ Burger with housemade spicy barbecue sauce, beer-battered onion rings, sharp cheddar and a brioche bun. Nosh on yours with one of their over-the-top shakes.

Available on Salt Creek's Happy Hour menu running Monday through Friday from 4pm to 6:30pm for only $9, these mini burgs are served up hot on Hawaiian buns and are topped with blue cheese aioli and wild baby arugula. Sink your teeth in while relaxing with a discounted wine, beer, cocktail or app.

Chyll Castaic's Banh Mi Burger
This juicy burger is topped with fresh-sliced cheese, mayo spread, jalapeno, cilantro, daikon, cucumber and crisp lettuce. It's a little bit spicy, a little bit tangy, bright, fresh and bold! Pair it with just-made fries and a signature Chyll beverage or rolled ice cream - or, you know... a beer (Yup, now available at the Castaic location!).
