Turn the temperature down on the SCV summer with spirits that are indisputably cool.

We'll Drink to That
Support SCV Charities & Families at The Local

The Local Bar & Grill is "Celebrating 4 Years" all summer long - and you can join them for a good time... and a good cause! Last month, the community rallied for the Dorsey family. This month, you can help support firefighter Tory Carlon's family. And - all year round - drop in for a pint of The Local's Charity Ale that supports Carousel Ranch, which is best enjoyed with the famous Charity Burger, benefiting a different local nonprofit each month.

Summery Sips of Premium Perfection
Just in time for the heat of summer, the warmth of the hardwood bar is back and ready to tickle the senses at Marston's. Select from Chef Jim's curated wine list and order by the bottle or by the glass. If beer quenches your thirst, choose popular bottled brands or explore new discoveries on tap like Lost Coast Great White, Made West Hazy IPA, Avery White Rascal or Stone Buenaveza Lager. If spirits move you, Marston's is revered for its specialty cocktail creations. You won't find a blender anywhere behind the bar. Instead, fruits are hand-muddled and cocktails hand-crafted to optimize the essence of the ingredients. If adventure beckons, try a Mezcal Old Fashioned with El Silencia and Casamigo Tequila, artichoke cherry liqueur and Luxardo cherries or consider a Hendrick's Jalapeno and Cucumber Martini. On hot summer nights, cool down with a Tito's and Orange Creamsicle cocktail, a Blackberry and Mint Mojito or a Hendrick's Gin Cucumber Collins.

The Secret of Marston's Templeton Old Fashioned
Chef Jim readily shares his secret for making the perfect Templeton Old Fashioned. He starts with a fresh orange peel, lighting it to release the oils. He adds the peel to a glass with a sugar cube and a few drops of bitters, then a splash of Templeton Rye - "the good stuff" - whiskey. Muddle. Add ice, then top off with soda and finish with a Luxardo Maraschino Cherry imported from Italy, plus a fresh slice of orange peel. Voila!

Sweet Sounds & Handcrafted Drinks at Salt Creek
Pair Salt Creek Grille's live music on Friday and Saturday nights in the bar from 9pm to midnight with our favorite summer drink: the SCG Signature Strawberry Jive with Hendricks gin, muddled fresh strawberry, basil, lemon, mint and orange juice.
