Have Faith...
Open your Heart and You will See
Time after time I find myself going back to Isaiah 43:18-19, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Do you not perceive it?" In the midst of difficult times, we must forget and not dwell on what has happened, but on what He will do. The key word here is "see." We have to open our eyes to see as He does and to see that He is and will do something new. It's too often that we believe He will do something new in us, but we just can't see it. Open your eyes of faith and know He is making a way in the desert and that He is preparing you for what He has prepared for you. See it?

God is in Control
Actually there are two Bible verses that inspire and lift me. The first is Isaiah 40:28-31. The second is Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." This verse is very encouraging to me because it affirms that no matter what circumstance life presents, whether good or bad, God the Father is in control and will use it to produce the better and eternal good in my life. I have this assurance as long as I seek and obey God's purpose for my life.
