"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Psalm 23
Valencia United Methodist Church Invites You
to Read the New Testament - Together

by Nicole Reilley

Reading the New Testament will change your life! And this year, we are inviting you to join us in reading through the New Testament during Lent. This 40-day journey begins on Monday, February 24 and ends on Palm Sunday, April 4.

In addition to daily readings, small groups will gather weekly for discussion and community. These groups are free and open to the community. Want to sign up? Contact us at umcv@umcv.org.

Each Sunday in worship, we will receive a preview of the coming week's scriptures and hear a focus scripture for the week. Join us at 9am or 10:30am or on our Livestream.
Most Christians have a Bible in their homes but most of us struggle to read it. Reading it together makes it more accessible - so join in, it is a great way to begin 2020!
Ready to give it a try? You are invited to our February 23 Lenten Study Kick-off at 5pm. Find out more on our website.

Getting to Know The Bridge
The Bridge is a warm, friendly, come-as-you-are community of authentic people. They enjoy simple things like blue skies, big smiles, family meals, and firm handshakes - along with inspiring music, sporting events, having fun and honoring God in all that they do.

They are not religious, churchy, or weird - at least they try not to be - but they are passionate about their relationship with God and relish the opportunity to converse about Him. Whether you're a longstanding follower of Christ, a new Christian, a spiritual seeker, or a doubter, you're welcome! Bring your curiosity and questions, along with your doubts, hurts and fears - and meet at "the bridge."

This fellowship was named after Jesus because He is the one and only bridge to God. Ready to cross over to a fresh new, inspiring place? See you at The Bridge!
