This fam-friendly town has it all for kids and that's never been more evident than in the wide variety of summer-fun options. They'll learn, grow, have fun, stay busy - and have you to thank for all of it. If you can't be a kid, spoil one you love with an amazing summer experience (Or three!).

Code Ninjas
Kids have Fun, Parents See Results!
Spark your child's inner ninja with engaging topics like JavaScript, robotics, Minecraft, web development, drones, debugging, apps and Roblox. At Code Ninjas, kids ages 7 to 14 learn coding, robotics and problem solving in a fun, supportive and social environment. Coders learn how to use logic, be resourceful and identify solutions, giving them distinct advantages in everyday life. Code Ninjas provides the next generation with the life-changing STEM skills they'll need in the future. Summer camp options are available with full or half-day experiences.

College of the Canyons Summer Institute
Develop Career Skills in an Exciting Hands-on Environment!
The goal of the Summer Institute is to provide hands-on career exploration and learning opportunities to students in a variety of areas and subjects including robotics, sports medicine, photography, architecture, Windows computer app design, auto technology, biotechnology, construction, makerspace and manufacturing. For students going into the sixth, seventh and eighth grade in fall 2019, each track allows participating students to discover a multitude of career possibilities through a unique blend of innovative lesson plans and fun hands-on activities that are scheduled each week. "The COC Summer Institute is much more than your typical summer camp," said Mark Carr, Summer Institute coordinator. "It's an opportunity for your child to discover a potential career path and have some fun at the same time." All 2019 COC Summer Institute sessions begin at 9am and conclude at 3pm. Enrollment fees are $275 per child, per week.

Safety Town
Stay Safe & Prevent Injury in a Special Mini Town!
Safety Town is a safety-and-injury prevention camp for kids 4 to 6 held at West Creek Academy July 15 to July 19 and July 22 to July 26 from 9am to 12:30m. This is the only safety education program in the SCV for young children! Children will enjoy a week-long camp and learn from credential teachers, youth volunteers and local community safety professionals about fire safety, emergencies and dialing 9-1-1, pedestrian safety, animal safety, vehicle safety, bicycle/wheels safety and more! A new Parent & Grandparent Safety Town Program will be offered on Wednesday, July 24, too. Safety professionals will engage participants in activities that address internet safety, bullying prevention, child abuse prevention and emergency/disaster preparedness for family and home. This program helps guardians keep their children safe at home, at school and in the community.

The Paseo Club's Summer Tennis Camp
Skill Development for Children of All Levels!
The Paseo Club, Santa Clarita's premier fitness and lifestyle club, offers a Summer Tennis Camp for children 5 to 18 years of age running from June 10 through August 9. Sign your child up for a day - or for the whole camp! Available to both members and non, choose from four opportunities. Future Stars Camp is for kids 5 to 8; they'll learn the basics of tennis in a fun, engaging way that incorporates other activities through the day for the most enjoyable experience. Tennis Camp is for kids 9 and older; this group will learn the fundamentals of tennis, incorporating games, drills, point and gameplay. Everyone will play lots of tennis and can swim during lunch, too, if they wish. Elite Tennis Camp for every age is for advanced juniors who are playing tournaments or competing on high-school teams. Kids will participate in advanced drills, work on technique, footwork and develop mental and fitness skills to improve their game. They'll also practice point play. ESCAPE Summer Camp
An Affordable Way to Experience Musical Theatre!
Running July 8 to 12 and July 22 to 26 from 9am to 12pm at only $100 per week, kids entering first through sixth grade will have a blast exploring musical theatre, singing, dancing, acting and learning hip hop. Looking for even more? ESCAPE Theatre is doing "Little Shop of Horrors," too! Every other summer, ESCAPE Theatre does a teen musical. This summer, starting on May 21, they will begin "Little Shop." This show has great music, fun dances, and more. The cost to participate in the 10-week program is only $150. Anyone that will be age 13 by August 1 is welcome to join. Performances will be August 2 to August 4 at The Canyon High School Performing Arts Center. Rehearsals are only Tuesday through Thursday evenings, so everyone will have four-day weekends to do other summer activities and enjoy mini vacations.

AR Workshop Crafting Camp
Make your own decor and more!
Parents will be clamoring for AR Workshop's new designs (Wedding, cake/cupcake stands and more!) and children are going to feel the same when they see the amazing selection of DIY kid-crafting fun. Perfect for the 7 to 14 set, choose one or all seven weeks of crafty joy for your creative kid. These four-day sessions run Monday through Thursday and are two hours in length. Just 90 seconds from "town," but a world away, Santa Clarita Valley Equestrian Center is located on San Francisquito Canyon Road one mile north of Copper Hill Drive. Here, your child will be immersed in a real horse ranch, surrounded by professionals who are committed to fun, exploration and safety. They'll forget about cell phones and video games as they learn how to care for horses, explore nature on trail rides, discover a love for Western and European riding, meet new friends, share snacks and make crafts. NorthPark Community Church Sports & Arts Camp
Run, Play & Go "Beyond the Gold"
Sports & Arts Camp presented by NorthPark Community Church runs July 8 to July 12 - and your kids are going to love it! They'll run, play, sing and dance with other kids in a safe environment with seven different tracks to choose from: Basketball, Ultimate Frisbee, Cheer, Soccer, Team 4/5 (ages 4 and 5), Music and Art. Each track is led by college students and/or professionals in their field. Each day, children will participate in their concentration, enjoy a snack, do a craft and learn songs and Bible stories that relate to the theme. "Beyond the Gold" is based on 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever."

CBS Preschool Summer Camp
Have a "Good Day Sunshine!"
CBS Preschool is anxiously awaiting the approaching summer program, "Good Day Sunshine." Your little one ages 2 (No need to potty train.) to 5 will enjoy eight weeks of fun, starting with a celebration of the USA. They'll have a blast with Superhero Week, Cooking with Friends, Sea Safari and more. Each week, with care available from 6:30am to 6:30pm, features water play, cooking, games and art projects. Would rather your child stay local? At CBS, the field trips are brought to the kids - they don't leave the school. Huge sunshades keep your kiddo protected from the sun during outdoor play. On Friday mornings, everyone celebrates Shabbat with songs.
