Dr. Sean McDowell to Speak at Legacy's Parent University on September 21
If you're a parent to kids or teens, you know that today's children are growing up in a vastly-different culture than the one you knew in your youth.
"Today's parents often feel concerned and uncertain about how to give their children the tools and discernment to stay physically, emotionally and spiritually safe when they're inundated by high-tech messaging that is often in stark contrast to their family's Christian values," explains Legacy's elementary Head of School Stacie Zorichak.
That's where Legacy Christian Academy's first Parent University speaker event comes in. "Our Parent University has been designed to connect parents with practical, Biblical, engaging speakers who will teach them how to thrive as they help their children navigate today's world," says Matt Millett, Legacy's head of school for the Valencia campus's middle and high school programs.
Dr. Sean McDowell will speak at Legacy's first Parent University about social media pressures on September 21 at 7pm.
Dr. McDowell is an author, speaker, university professor and Christian apologist who speaks all over the world.
During this speaking engagement, he will equip parents with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about how their children use social media and interact with the world around them. Call to register.
