Legacy High School's Pathways Program Leads Kids to Success in College & Beyond
Legacy High School Pathways provide two distinct opportunities. First, students have the opportunity to prepare for the rigors of college through honors, AP, and dual-credit courses.
"Our dual credit/AP pathways will allow students to earn college credits, potentially completing two years of college-level general education courses that qualify for both high school and college credit," explains Lynn Kistler, Legacy High's dean of academic support. "And the Industry Pathways allow students to gain experience and take courses in a desired field of interest. Students will be able to choose from career-based courses and local internships during the school day."
The Valencia campus's Pathways programs are customizable, too. "We work closely with each student throughout the high school years to ensure that their pathway not only meets their needs, but gives them opportunities within their different areas/careers of interest and their gifts and strengths," says Kistler.
All Legacy High students follow a personalized learning plan. "We provide intentional, focused counseling and individualized support so that each of our high school students can pursue the colleges and careers they are hoping for," shares the education expert.

The Master's University Strives to Keep Costs Low
by TMU Staff
Students at The Master's University value a biblically-rooted higher education, knowing that their return on investment is far greater than can be measured. That's why the University strives to keep costs as low as possible by offering numerous scholarships and other financial aid opportunities.
In 2023, over $30 million in financial aid was disbursed, with more than half of that being institutional aid. Almost all on-campus students receive some form of financial assistance, with survey data indicating that more than 40 percent of TMU students graduate debt-free.
TMU's financial aid team works hard to help students access federal, state and institutional aid in the form of grants, loans, need-based and merit-based scholarships, work-study positions and other programs. The following featured scholarships are but a few examples of the available aid:
The 2024 Steadfast Scholarship: 100 Percent
This need-based scholarship combines all available internal and external aid to cover 100 percent of tuition.
The President's Scholarship: $19,000 per Year
This academic scholarship recognizes top academic performance and scholarships 50 percent of tuition.
Red & Blue Scholarship: $14,000 Total
This community scholarship is for students dependent on parents who currently work full-time in law enforcement or at fire departments.
