Valley Trails Summer Camp has been providing fun, wholesome camp experiences for over 50 years and is a local favorite. Accredited by the American Camp Association and a member of Western Association of Independent Camps, Valley Trails puts a premium on experiences that help campers build 21st-century skills like communication, leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Located in Castaic, this SCV summer tradition provides memorable experiences for children in grades K through 10th.

Giddy Up for Summer Camp at Santa Clarita Valley Equestrian Center
Perfect for ages 5 and up, your horse lover will have the time of their lives learning to ride and care for their "own" horse during camp - no shared horses! Boost your child's self esteem while gifting them with practical abilities and connecting them to nature. They will also meet new friends, play games and make crafts. Your kid won't even notice that they haven't seen a screen all day! Each weekly session is only $350 and runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm starting on June 13. Save $50 per week when you pre-register for more than one session.

Experience Musical Theatre Affordably with ESCAPE Summer Camp
Kids and teens entering second through 12th grade will have a blast exploring musical theatre, singing, dancing and acting this summer! Each week is themed - and your child will learn new songs, dances and scenes every day. Rehearsals are only Tuesday through Thursday, so everyone will have four-day weekends for family fun. Join them this July for Summer 2025 themes they'll love, including "Beauty & the Beast," "Disney Mania," "Shrek" and "Mama Mia." Improve your child's skills before "Lil' Abner" starts in September!

Every First Sunday of the Month: Nest Healing Art Studio
Nest is a free program for teens and adults consisting of an hour of mindful, judgement-free art making. Mindfulness practices, both in meditation and in art, can help our ability to regulate our feelings, decrease stress and focus our attention. No art expertise needed. A project suggestion will be given, but not required. Nest is developed under the direction of Emily Skelton, LMFT, registered art therapist.
