This Month, Why Don't You...
{re}connect with other moms. Visit www.scvalleymommies.com and attend one of their "Ugly Coffees," which encourage moms to relax and hang out (with or without kids) - no makeup or cute clothes required.
sleep in on Saturday, March 7. You'll be losing an hour of shut-eye starting Sunday, March 8, when we "spring forward" an hour for Daylight Savings Time.
order flowers for your partner. Now that the prices (and expectation levels) that come with Valentine's Day are behind us, your "just because" sentiment will be especially well received.
"go green" on Saint Patrick's Day. Everyone's Irish on March 17. Save your younger kids the pain of school-yard pinches by setting aside their favorite green sweater well in advance (and hide your teen's "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" pin while you're at it).
