The "Good Neighbor" Corner
GNP of SCV (Valencia Pharmacy, Valencia Town Center Pharmacy and Saugus Drugs & Hallmark) would like to invite the community to help support our seniors in need. On June 6, someone broke into the SCV Senior Center, rammed one Home Delivered Meal Truck into the fence and stole another. The damage is estimated at about $100,000.
The Senior Center's staff and volunteers are working extra hard to make meal deliveries, but they are devastated that someone would steal a truck from a nonprofit organization that provides a lifeline to homebound seniors.
For information on how you can help, please visit the Senior Center Foundation's website at www.scvseniorfoundation.org or contact Kathy Crone at 259-9444.
