"I moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue my career in film and television. I self-submitted via snail mail, trying fruitlessly to acquire an agent, manager and auditions. As many know, paying bills and maintaining a regular steady income became priority, so my acting career took a back seat. After getting married and having kids, I once again found myself in a position to pursue my acting desires.
I found SCSOPA and signed up for unlimited classes in 2017. Within three months, my son and I had signed with an agent. To me, this was worth every penny. My son Logan and I have both been on Fox television. Logan has also been in a Disney commercial, featured in student films and most recently he has been cast in multiple Dhar Mann YouTube videos - a channel with over 18 million subscribers. As many actors know, it's not like riding a bike, acting is like going to the gym. You must continually use your acting muscles to keep the creativity and confidence flowing. If you aren't on set, you should be in acting class. The unlimited option was well worth the investment. I have also acquired life-long acting friends through the school and we have been creating our own content to add to our reels. I cannot count the many ways SCSOPA has fed my acting career and brought joy to my life. None of this would have been possible without SCSOPA."
