Safety Town's Fun Safety Education for Kids 4.5 to 6
This one-week camp held at West Creek Academy introduces safety education and awareness in an exciting miniature town environment. Only $150 a child, with scholarships available, the 9am to 12:30pm camp covers safety topics including 911, fire, pedestrian, vehicle, bicycle, playground, water, personal, earthquake, stranger, animal, internet and drugs/medicine. Your child will have a blast while meeting community safety specialists, connecting with new friends and staying safe, thanks to program sponsor Santa Clarita Optimist Foundation. Choose from two sessions: July 15 to July 19 and July 22 to July 26.

iCREATE
Summer Camp at SCVi
Do you want a fun, safe environment for your child that's also affordable and offers a flexible schedule? SCVi Charter School's iCREATE Summer Camp could be the solution for your family. iCREATE Summer Camp welcomes incoming Kindergarten through seventh-grade youngsters on the campus of SCVi Charter School in Castaic and is open to everyone. Their fully-trained staff members are already preparing a summer of fun for your child with exciting activities based on weekly themes in an environment that will allow campers to explore and share their unique perspectives. Kids will participate in sports, art, music and more. Field trips to favorites like Hurricane Harbor and Skateland are on the agenda, too. Camp runs for six weeks from June 24 to August 9.

Summer Sessions for Kids at AR Workshop
Geared for the 7 to 14 set, choose one or all seven weeks of DIY joy for your creative, crafty kid. These four-day sessions run Monday through Thursday and are two hours in length. The $180 per-sesh cost covers four projects, plus a tee-shirt. Add on a Friday class for only $45 more.

College of the Canyons Summer Institute
The popular career-exploration themed College of the Canyons Summer Institute, with weekly sessions running July 8 to July 12 and July 15 to July 19, is back! The College of the Canyons Summer Institute is open to students entering grades sixth through eighth in fall '19. Providing hands-on career exploration and learning opportunities to students in a variety of areas and subjects including robotics, sports medicine, photography, architecture, Windows computer app design, auto technology, biotechnology, construction, makerspace and manufacturing, all Summer Institute instructors are COC professors or industry professionals who have tailored their curriculum for younger minds. Each track allows participating students to discover a multitude of career possibilities through a unique blend of innovative lesson plans and fun hands-on activities that are scheduled each week. All 2019 COC Summer Institute sessions begin at 9am and conclude at 3pm. Enrollment fees are $275 per child per week.

Sunshine Summer Camp
For incoming Kinder through sixth graders, Sunshine's summer camp is the place to be! With two field trips a week that are included in the cost of tuition, this is the camp for children who love adventures. Even non-field-trip days are a blast, thanks to daily themes with six activities to keep it interesting, like art, science, inside games, outside games and more. Summer camp starts June 17; sign up soon, because Early Bird rates (Save $25 a week!) end on May 3.
