Take Control with Strong Mental & Physical Fitness
Results Fitness has always taken a different approach to health. With a focus on the whole body and mind, Results Co-owners Alwyn and Rachel Cosgrove understand that there's more to meeting your goals than diet and exercise. Sometimes reaching your fitness goals is just as much about your mental health as it is your physical health.

"We teach mindset - shedding negative self-talk, bad habits and faulty methods. You'll be remarkably healthier - mentally and physically - at the end of a Results program," says Rachel Cosgrove, international fitness expert and bestselling author. "Exercising works wonders to keep you even-keeled and able to tolerate more," Rachel explained. "Yep, even with homeschooling and chaos all around."

That's why mindset has never been more important. During times of uncertainty, Rachel's best advice to keep a healthy body and mind is simply to focus on what's within your control. "'Control the controllables' is my go-to mantra in times of crisis and uncertainty," Rachel says. "What can I control today?"

One of the most important things you have control over is your ability to take care of yourself. Science has shown that exercise boosts the immune system to fight off infection. One single bout can make a difference according to the research. If you do get sick, starting off healthier will help you fare through it better.
But the question remains: How do you stay motivated during this time? Well, action always precedes motivation. If you're feeling stuck, move your body until you feel like getting unstuck. One workout can change your whole mood and get the ball rolling, so you can control what's controllable: taking care of YOU in these uncertain times.

Connection through the Power of (Virtual) Dance
The power of dance has been bringing people together for as long as we can remember. Whether it's a cultural rite of passage, a dreamy father-daughter wedding dance or a flash mob, the act of getting together to express ourselves through music and movement is an act that transcends time, culture and - you guessed it - crisis.

"Since its birth in 1912, Arthur Murray Dance Centers have served in communities as a rock, a place to gather and have fun, to be healthy and make new friends," shared Valencia Franchisees Jean and Wendy Dobre. "In fact, nothing has stopped the passion of dance in over 100 years - not war, not recessions, not terrorist attacks ... and not pandemics. Our innate desire to connect, celebrate, share and enjoy the arts is simply too powerful."

And the Arthur Murray Valencia studio is no different. Jean and Wendy are dedicated to teaching the world to dance, one person at a time, just like founders Arthur and Kathryn Murray - even if that means making some changes. Keep an eye out for some unique opportunities to keep moving and grooving through technology. No partner or studio necessary! Push the couch away and clear some space because it's time to dance for your health, happiness and for all those whose spirits need lifting!
