Henry Mayo Urgent Care is there when You Need It
We never understood why most urgent care facilities keep opening hours more closely resembling a bank's than a hospital's - but now we don't have to ponder... we can just go to Henry Mayo Urgent Care instead. Open from 10am to 10pm daily, Henry Mayo Urgent Care even posts wait times online at www.henrymayourgentcare.com so you can decide when the time is right for you. Once on site, you'll check in fast and easily thanks to their high-tech system and you'll see a great doctor, too.

Santa Clarita Advanced Dentistry Provides Complimentary Custom Mouth Guards to Local Athletes
Just because you love sports doesn't mean you shouldn't protect your smile during practice and play! The Smudde family, owners of Santa Clarita Advanced Dentistry, are so invested in the health and safety of the SCV community that they donated free custom mouth guards to football players at Canyon and Valencia High, as well as the Grizzlies youth football teams. Dental assistants took impressions during the office community outreach days while student athletes learned how to better care for their oral health. The Smuddes make community connections a practice priority; this football-player outreach is just one example of how the office serves Santa Clarita.

STEP OUT Walk to Stop Diabetes
Today, there are nearly 30 million Americans who have diabetes. Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes is the American Diabetes Association's signature fundraising walk with 95 walks across the country. Every dollar raised through Step Out plays an important role in supporting the Association's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. Ready to lend a hand? Walk through Six Flags Magic Mountain and Hurricane Harbor prior to the theme parks' gates opening and enjoy a rare opportunity to walk with your leashed, canine friends. While the fog hangs low and the sun rises in the east, and hours before the theme park gates open to the public, thousands of walkers from throughout the Santa Clarita Valley will descend on Six Flags Magic Mountain to help Stop Diabetes in the American Diabetes Association's Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes on Saturday, November 4. A light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Parking is free for walkers and volunteers arriving before 8am. Log on to learn more and register.
