Join the Inaugural SCV Water Academy this Spring
Want to learn the ins and outs of SCV Water? Join the inaugural SCV Water Academy, a curated and free learning opportunity for residents of the Santa Clarita Valley, launching this spring. Learn about SCV Water directly from the experts in an engaging, interactive, in-person format.
Topics will include history and organization; infrastructure and facilities; water supply and quality; as well as critical water issues. Attendees will also get a behind-the-scenes look at SCV Water's advanced water treatment facility and cutting-edge water quality labs.
Are you interested in applying for a limited spot in the Academy? You must be 18 or older, live or work in the SCV Water service area and be able to commit to attending all four sessions. Dinner will be provided before the evening classes.
The session schedule includes three Wednesdays - March 15, March 22 and March 29 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm - and Saturday, April 1, from 9am to 11am.
Apply by February 15 to be considered for the Academy.
