A clean aesthetic and the world's best materials make for a refined al fresco experience.

Twinkling lights, cheerful tableware, surprise textures and gorgeous greenery set the stage for a meal to remember.

Fun Fact:
When your custom-crafted jumbo al fresco dining table is topped with soapstone, boasts an imbedded teppan grill and clocks in at about 2,000 pounds, you're going to need steel reinforcements. (This one has 'em in spades.).

When the goal of your outdoor space is to transition seamlessly from the indoors, stucco is a too-harsh visual element. "By using shiplap siding, it feels very much like another room in the outdoor space - like it's an indoor room that just happens to be outside. Shiplap gave us the softness of an interior space," says Younkin.

Fun Fact:
The outdoor kitchen cabinetry was hand crafted in teak by an interior-kitchen professional. "Our custom cabinet builder created 'real' kitchen cabinets so that the feel of this space replicated the experience of preparing a meal in a gourmet kitchen," says the homeowner.

Al fresco meal prep is never a chore when your outdoor kitchen includes an ice maker, searing and side burners, vent hood, refrigerator and even five-tap kegerator that serves kids' beverages and alcoholic drinks as well as beer.
