"Since this home was built in the 1980s, it's quite surprising that there would be this LARGE of a balcony. It makes this part of the home feel regal - I love it!"
Shelly Whelchel
Located right outside the Whelchel upstairs master bedroom and bathroom lies a grand master balcony. "It's a surprising amount of space - definitely enough to really take advantage of and make it feel like its own distinct room," explains homeowner Shelly Whelchel.
A mixture of wicker, rattan and cast-iron seating options invite you to pull up a chair and relax with a book, cocktail - or both. "We do really enjoy relaxing in this space," says Whelchel. "A gentle breeze, the sunset - it's gorgeous out there."
An eclectic fusion of textures, greenery, color and motif keep the eye dancing, adding charm in spades - but some of the most impressive highlights are those growing up from below. "To sit 'in' the tree canopy is magical," says Whelchel.
