"We wanted a modern look with a light and bright approach." The beautifully customized pool table - with cerulean felt and grey wood exterior - is a perfect representation of that purpose. It provides a surprising pop of color while staying on palette with the calming greys, whites and soft blues.

"We wanted to create an open and airy kitchen," Rebecca explains, "so we removed a lot of cabinets and added exposed shelving to create more space and achieve the look." Keeping with the layered texture style, the kitchen brings in new, white materials: marble-like quartz countertops, wood cabinets and subway tile backsplash. Stainless steel appliances and clean metal fixtures modernize the room for a beach kitchen that invites you to pull up a chair.
