The kitchen serves as a convenient space for food prep and enjoyment thanks to playful leopard-backed chairs, a high-function quartzite-topped island, woven-textured backsplash and easy-maintenance porcelain tile that has the look of wood.

The tract house that Tim and Cindy Dadik call home has the look and feel of a custom home thanks to a recent floor-to-ceiling remodel. "The only thing we kept from our previous 11 years here was the pool table - and even that got a navy-blue fabric upgrade," reflects Cindy. "We wanted an open floor plan that was airy and bright."


A glass-topped planter filled with grassy moss welcomes guests in the entryway. The living room's grey leather swivel chairs are the perfect front-row seat to an impromptu piano concert.

That goal was achieved, and then some, thanks to a color palette that leans heavily on whites and organic hues of blue. "The look had to be sophisticated but warm and livable; we have a teen and two dogs," explains the homeowner.
A passion for entertaining inspired many of the homes new spaces. A teen room with ping-pong table, media room with oversized screen and projector, pool room and plenty of swivel chairs that allow guests to quickly switch from fireside conversation to appreciation of an impromptu piano performance make it clear: This is a family that values connection.


The home's powder room is an exquisite study of details. Dramatic wallpaper on the ceiling draw the eyes up, where they linger on the iridescent cascade of light from the crystal chandeliers. Crown moulding, porcelain rosettes cascading down the wall and a sparkling sink punctuate the elegance.


Dual-sided fireplaces warm the family room, Tim's home office, the kitchen and living room; the flames dance above a herringbone-patterned porcelain-tile floor.

"We wanted our home to be very welcoming but also unique," shares Cindy. In nearly every room, that "special touch" comes in the form of high-end dramatic lighting fixtures. Orbs, sparkling chandeliers, modern bubbles, transitional pendants - they're all accounted for in the home, each illuminating both the space and the design philosophy of the homeowners.


"For our guest room, we wanted the space to feel very neutral and relaxed - but we still needed a statement piece over the center of the bed to give it the 'pop' that's so present in the rest of the house," explains the homeowner.
"Our home is filled with incredible details," says Cindy. "It took a long time because the craftspeople and tradespeople were absolute perfectionists. They did a wonderful job. We love it! It's just what we wanted."
