RE/MAX Expanding
RE/MAX of Santa Clarita & Valencia Expanding with Downtown Newhall Office
November, 2017 - Issue #158

"We're growing in the right direction - and with the right professionals. Like the RE/MAX Realtors who help you buy and sell property in Santa Clarita, my family and I call this community 'home.' Yes, we're invested in the Downtown Newhall REVITALIZATION PROJECT because it makes good business sense; Newhall's plan is solid and I'm confident that this investment will pay big dividends as we grow our presence in this market. But honestly, I'm just as invested in growing connections and building relationships here. Newhall's 'new' again in all the right ways - and I'm proud to play a role in that."
Dave Rendall, owner of RE/MAX Valencia & Santa Clarita, board member of Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation
What happens when the desire to provide even better customer convenience merges with your efforts in the field of community development?

In the case of Dave Rendall, owner of RE/MAX of Valencia & Santa Clarita, "what happens" is the opening of a brand-new RE/MAX office in Downtown Newhall.

The Santa Clarita Valley Economic Development Corporation board member, entrepreneur and business-community leader has made his big plans for Downtown Newhall well known - and with good reason. "I'm incredibly proud to be part of the Newhall revitalization effort; this kind of community growth is a 'positive' and will benefit everyone. As a board member of the SCVEDC, I'm also honored to be actively engaged as a business owner in Valencia, Santa Clarita and now Newhall. From the beginning, it was incredibly important to me that my team and I do business a little bit differently. We want to be in business so that we can grow and be successful, but we want to do it in a way that results in our community and neighbors benefiting, too. It's a more conscientious way of thinking about things, measuring the impact not just on yourself and your team, but ultimately, on the people you want to serve. We always seek to do the most good with every decision," says Rendall.

The new location, a boutique "niche" office that will cater to clients' need for convenience, isn't the only investment Rendall is making in the up-and-coming community. "Chef Daniel Otto, College of the Canyons Culinary Institute faculty, will be opening the highly-anticipated Junction restaurant with a planned opening date in early winter, 2018. Between the opening of the new theater, the remarkable Newhall library and the energy radiating from burgeoning new businesses on Main Street and beyond, Downtown Newhall is the place to be!" says Rendall.
